Description: A very good English Regency rosewood centre table retaining excellent original colour and patina. The circular top, with the rare utilisation of a solid rosewood top, the timbers of which are arranged in book matched form around a centre line, with a down standing cross-banded frieze around the circumference. The table is supported by a solid rosewood turned tapering central column with a central and lower carved floral ring decoration. The column stands on a tripartite scalloped base, on finely carved rosewood paw feet. A table of excellent quality with fine detailing throughout and of a convenient size to ably grace any classic or modern hallway or library.
Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, waxing.
