Description: A fine Regency rosewood and brass mounted centre table retaining excellent original colour and patina. The circular top with book matched wonderfully figured veneers, strung and edged in brass, with a down standing cross-banded frieze. The table is supported by a tapering square section central column with mounted brass outlines and an anthemion brass decoration to each face. The column stands on a quadripartite scalloped and brass detailed base, on fine carved scrolling paw feet. A fine table with excellent detailing throughout, it would add grace to any classic or modern hallway or library.
Condition: Excellent. Minor restorations, waxing.
