Regency mahogany drum top library table

Description: A fine quality English Regency mahogany drum table, of larger diameter. The top with cross banded flame mahogany moulded edge, crossed banded perimeter with inset black leather surface. Below four cock-beaded ash lined drawers alternate with four dummy drawers around the circumference, each drawer fitted with regency brass knob handles. The table is supported on a ring turned central column standing on a quad partite base of reeded sabre legs, terminating in fluted castors.

A superb table of larger than normal size, would eminently suit a central position in a hallway, in a library or bay window. The table retains excellent colour and patina throughout.

Condition: Excellent. Minor restorations, cleaning, waxing. The leather top surface probably an old replacement.
