Description: A fine early George III mahogany side table. The rectangular top of well figured solid mahogany, below, the frieze again well figured with, architectural mouldings adjacent to the top and a rounded moulding to the bottom of the frieze. The table stands on chamfered square section legs, with pierced fretwork ears at the hips. A delightful yet simple table of fine quality throughout.

Further Information: Plaish Hall is a stunning Grade I listed Tudor house, standing in beautiful gardens and grounds and surrounded by the unspoilt countryside of South Shropshire. It was built for Judge Sir William Leighton in the late 16th century and is believed to be the first brick built house in Shropshire. It has gone through a period of meticulous restoration over the last 35 years.

Condition: Excellent. Minor old restorations, waxing.
