Description: A deep impasto with bright vibrant colours in a post impressionist style this observation of Godrevy Lighthouse St, Ives, Cornwall is painted by well known Australian born and Scottish domiciled artist Judith Bridgeland.
Further Information: Born in Victoria, Australia Judith Bridgland moved to Scotland in 1965. She graduated with a Master of Arts with Honours in History of Fine Art and English Literature in 1984 from the University of Glasgow. She is an artist member of The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and the Paisley Art Institute. Awards include: MacRoberts Open Prize in 1999, House for an Art Lover Award, Royal Glasgow Institute, 2009 and Finalist in The Bath Art Prize, 2010. Judith has exhibited widely in numerous solo and mixed exhibitions and has work in many private collections in the UK and abroad. Works in public collections include: The Royal Bank of Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Strathclyde.
