Description: A fine George III Sheraton period rosewood and satinwood banded breakfast table. The rectangular top with rounded corners, laid with extremely well figured rosewood veneers onto a mahogany base and retaining excellent original surface, colour and patina. The edge of the top banded in rosewood. The top tilts by means of a hinges and a locking release mechanism. The table is supported by a turned, slightly tapering central column on four tapering, square section sabre legs terminating in brass hairy paw feet and castors. A lovely beautifully figured table which would comfortably seat four people.
Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, waxing.
