Description: A fine George III rosewood and satinwood banded oval breakfast table. The oval top veneered using the finest rosewood veneer, cross banded with satinwood and tulipwood and strung with box, the veneers laid on a mahogany base wood. The table is supported by a tapering, fluted ?gun barrel? column, standing on a quad partite base of four curved, tapering square section legs with inset beaded detailing, each leg fitted with brass capped castors. The table has a lovely mellow colour and beautiful patina.
Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, waxing.
