Description: A fine George III mahogany drum table of excellent original colour and patina. The top with inset leather working surface, the circumference cross-banded in mahogany and tulipwood strung with box and ebony. The frieze with four opening and four dummy drawers, strung with ebony and fitted with brass lions head ring pull handles. The table has a central ring turned column, in turn supported by four square section tapering sabre legs, strung with ebony and terminating in hairy paw brass castors. Fabulous quality throughout.
Further Information: A superb table of compact dimensions; would look lovely in an entrance hall or library as a centre piece.
Condition: Excellent. Minor old repairs & possible restorations, waxing. The leather top in the region of 50 years old.
