Description: A very good George III mahogany corner armchair of fine rich colour. The curved moulded back rail transitioning into scalloped arms, supported by three tapering uprights with a bow and ribbon carved vertical central splat between the upright supports. The chair rails form a square section with a moulded edge and drop in seat covered with a later 19th century needlework. The chair is supported by four chamfered square section legs with shaped ears to the hip. A fine quality, sturdy chair in excellent condition.
Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, waxing. The needlework 19th century.
