Description: A very good George I walnut lowboy retaining excellent original colour colour and patina. The top of rectangular form, with rounded corners, quarter veneered, cross and feather banded, with cross grain moulded edge. The frieze with a central oak lined, feather banded drawer fitted with apparently original brass drop handle, flanked by a drawer of similar construction to each side. A scrolling lower apron joins the front cabriole legs with a moulded section above each knee and terminating in a pad foot. The rear legs shaped and constructed in a similar manner to the front.
Condition: Excellent. Minor old restorations, waxing.
