Stock Code: 1883 - SOLD

Description: A fine George I burr walnut and feather banded secretaire cabinet on chest in the manner of William Old & John Ody. The bottom half with a fitted secretaire drawer to the top with an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes, below three long graduated, oak lined drawers fitted with engraved plate handle, standing on shaped bracket feet.

John Ody became free of the joiners company in 1723 and probably about this time teamed up with William Old to trade from their St.Paul?s church yard address.
