Description: A fine George III mahogany straight front commode, retaining excellent original colour and patina.

The rectangular top with moulded edge over a retractable, baize lined brushing slide and two short over three long, graduated, cock beaded oak lined drawers fitted with superb gilt brass Chippendale style Rocco handles.

The chest has a further moulding to the base and stands on handsome, prominent ogee bracket feet.

A fine and practical piece of excellent quality.

Condition: Excellent. Minor restorations, waxing. The baize lining to the slide has been replaced.
