Description: A fine Regency pollard & brown oak library table, retaining excellent original colour & patina. The pollard oak top with moulded edge and inset leather writing surface. Below the frieze again of pollard oak with two inset cock beaded drawers with turned knob handles each side and the lower edge with beaded circumference. The table is supported by panelled rectangular end supports joined by a shaped medium height stretcher, on a beaded platform base with gadrooned quadrants supported by wonderfully carved paw feet.
Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, cleaning & waxing. The leather writing surface possibly original.
