Description: A fine George III mahogany breakfront library bookcase, of superb original colour and patina of a desirable low waisted design. The central section with cavetto moulded cornice and flame mahogany frieze with double thirteen pane astragal glazed doors, opening to reveal an interior of adjustable shelving, flanked either side by a single door wing of similar construction. Below the base section with a double central flame mahogany cupboard section with central shelf, flanked again by a similar single cupboard section either side. A superb looking yet simple bookcase of a wonderful original colour.
Condition: Excellent. Minor restorations, cleaning & waxing. Some of the internal shelves are later.
