Description: A fine George II figured & carved walnut lowboy of excellent colour and patina. The top of rectangular form, with canted front corners, quarter veneered, cross and feather banded, with cross grain moulded edge. The front with a top long, oak lined, cock-beaded drawer fitted with brass plate handles, below a central short drawer, flanked by another to each side. The front corners are canted and reeded. A scrolling lower apron joins the front cabriole legs with acanthus carving to the knees and a ball and claw foot. The rear legs shaped and carved in a similar manner to the front.

Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, waxing.
