Description: A superb George I figured walnut & feather banded kneehole desk, of excellent original colour & patina. The rectangular top, quarter veneered, feather and cross banded with a crisply moulded edge and re-entrant front corners. Below an arrangement of one long over two pairs of three short feather banded, beaded and oak lined drawers, fitted with original brassware and locks. The central recess with a drawer to the top and a central kneehole cupboard compartment with shelf. The kneehole is supported to the front by two pairs of bracket feet, with a single bracket foot to each side at the rear.

Condition: Excellent. Minor old restorations. Feet and brassware apparently original.
