Description: A fine, rare George III card fretwork mahogany tea table, retaining excellent original colour and patina. The rectangular top with moulded edge, over a delightful blind fretwork frieze, with a lower rope twist moulded edge. The top opens to reveal a well figured mahogany interior and supported by a single rear swing leg. The table is supported by square section, blind fret carved chamfered legs with block feet. The front legs are linked to the frieze with the original elaborately carved and moulded ears. The table exudes quality throughout and would stand very well in both a traditional or contemporary room design.
Condition: Excellent. Minor restorations, waxing.
