Description: An important set of George III Chippendale period mahogany hanging wall shelves. The pierced fretwork fashioned sides in the Chinese Chippendale taste. The sides are joined by three horizontal shelves and an integrated bottom frieze section with a three drawers fitted with gilt brass axe head handles. The shelves have pierced fretwork scrol shpaed lower brackets to each die under the frieze drawers. A fine pair of shelves, excellent quality.

Condition: Excellent. Minor restorations, waxing.
