Description: A fabulous pair of early George III giltwood wall brackets. The shaped top of demi-lune outline, with carved and detailed moulded edge The supports primarily in the form of a gently tapering pierced and carved outline, in the form of a leaf to the top and with a large central S-scroll with emanating leaf and flower carving. These brackets have a particularly elegant, flowing and well executed design, with crisp detailed carving throughout.
Condition: Excellent. No known restorations, the gilding possibly partially refreshed.
