Stock Code: 2352
Description: A fine George III figured mahogany and satinwood banded breakfast table. The circular, delightfully figured mahogany top, with a broad satinwood banding bordered by two tulipwood, box and ebony strung companion bands forming a very good looking surface which in turn is veneered onto a solid mahogany tilting base.
The table is supported by a solid mahogany tapering gun barrel column, ring turned at top and bottom with four tapering, reeded splayed legs which terminate in brass cups and castors. A fine quality practical table which has mellowed over the years creating an excellent colour and patina. It would be equally at home as a centrepiece in a hall or used as a smaller dining table.
