Description: A superb quality George III D-shaped figured mahogany serving table in the manner of Robert Adam, exhibiting excellent colour and patina throughout. The solid mahogany top formed in the shape of a capital letter "D", with good figuring throughout and with applied fluted edge. Below the frieze of flame mahogany with lower beaded moulding. Above each of the four square section, tapering and fluted legs an oval applied carved pattarae, the legs terminating in a square section foot.

An elegant table, constructed of fine quality timbers, standing extremely well and exuding quality.

Further Information: The table comes from a collection in New York and is believed to have been purchased through the London trade within the last 30 years.

Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, waxing.
