Description: A George III Sheraton period mahogany butterfly Pembroke table. The top of serpentine outline to all four sides, with conzalez alves and box strung edge. Both butterfly flaps drop to form a rectangular outline central section with bow shape to front and back.

Below the serpentined shaped frieze with cock beaded cross-banded and strung drawer to one side and opposite dummy, both fitted with circular floral back plate gilt brass handles. Each side of the drawer, a marquetry inlaid, oval shaped, satinwood pattarae with cock- beaded collar to the leg hip below.

The table is supported by square section tapering legs terminating in brass and castors. Retaining excellent original colour and patina throughout, with the use of excellent timber and veneers, this is a fine table.

Condition: Possible minor old restorations, waxing.
