Regency rosewood & giltwood library table

Description: A fine Regency rosewood & giltwood library table of excellent colour and patina. The rounded rectangular top with a gadrooned frieze with a pair of drawers to one side and opposing dummy drawers, with brass lions mask knob handles.

The table has tapering hexagonal end supports, with giltwood gadrooned rings to the lower half. The legs are joined by a high stretcher and stand on perpendicular base with curled giltwood toes with floral giltwood carving to each side and terminating in hidden castors.

An excellent table in well cared for country house condition.

Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, waxing.
