Description: A fine George II walnut and feather banded kneehole desk, of excellent colour & patina. The rectangular top, quarter veneered, feather and cross banded with a moulded edge

Below one long over three pairs of short, feather banded, oak lined drawers with a central kneehole cupboard compartment with feather banding, opening to reveal a cupboard with central shelf. The kneehole is supported to the front by a pair of walnut veneered bracket feet.

The kneehole stands particularly well and has a nice soft wax finish.

Condition: Excellent. Minor restorations to chipped veneers, cleaning and waxing. Brassware believed to be original.
