Description: A very good George II walnut and feather banded kneehole desk, of fine colour & patina. The rectangular top with front re-entrant corners, quarter veneered, feather and cross banded with a moulded edge. Below one long over two pairs of three short strung, feather banded, cock-beaded and oak lined drawers with a central kneehole cupboard compartment with feather banded arch, opening to reveal a cupboard with central shelf. The kneehole is supported to the front by a pair of walnut veneered bracket feet.

Condition: Excellent. Minor old restoration, waxing. Brassware believed to be original..
