Description: A fine Irish Regency mahogany and ebony line inlaid inverted breakfront sideboard retaining excellent original colour and patina, constructed of choice timbers and veneers throughout. The complexly shaped inverted breakfront top simply inlaid with an ebony line around the circumference. Below a central concave frieze drawer fitted with brass ring pull handles, with another concave drawer below with integrated pull, both in choice flame veneers and ebony strung.
The central pair of drawers is flanked by a pair of out stepped spiral turned columns, which transition into ring turned and reeded legs with fair paw feet. These are flanked again by, on the left, by a full height cupboard door opening to reveal a shelf and internal drawer and on the right, a full height lead lined cellar drawer. These are again flanked by columned legs. A fantastic and substantial original sideboard, of superb quality throughout.
Condition: Excellent. Minor old restorations, waxing. Brassware replaced.
