Description: A fine George III carved mahogany foot stool, retaining good original colour and patina to the legs. The rectangular shaped seat now covered with a newly woven 18th century pattern tapestry cover, rope piped with complimenting velvet border, close nailed around the lower frame. The stool is supported by four tapering cabriole legs, with trailing vine carved knees and ears, terminating in scrolling toes.
Condition: Excellent. The stool has been waxed, the seat has been covered in a new, 18th century pattern fabric.
