Description: A fine pair of 18th century south Italian, probably Naples or Sicilian, over painted, silver leaf, carved wood console tables. Each with a carrara, grey and yellow veined serpentine marble top with moulded edge, above elaborate leaf and C-scroll carved frieze on a single cabriole leg with rocaille, applied and carved floral embellishments terminating in a hoof foot. Wonderfully elegant, to grace a traditional or contemporary English interior.
Condition: Excellent. Partial refresh to silver leaf, the marble tops possibly later.
