Description: A good George III mahogany brass bound oval peat bucket, of good original colour. The bucket is of compact size with scalloped top, brass carry handle, broad top and bottom band and a triple centre narrow brass banding. There is also a later brass drop in liner, not shown in this picture. A good looking piece with lovely rich coloured mahogany and of an unusual shape.

Condition: Excellent. The bucket has been waxed; the removable brass liner is later.
