Description: A fine Sheraton period mahogany & satinwood banded serpentine sideboard of excellent original colour and patina, with the use of choice timbers & veneers throughout. The serpentine top cross banded in satinwood and the edge banded in flame mahogany. Below a central shallow drawer adjoined either side by a pair of drawers on the left and a deeper double drawer on the right, all in excellent book matched flame veneers, cross banded in satinwood, strung with box and ebony, retaining the original octagonal gilt brass ring handles, below each section a scalloped shaped frieze. The sideboard is supported on square section tapering legs strung with box, each leg inlaid at frieze level with an oval floral pattarae, terminating in spade feet. A fabulous original sideboard, of superb quality throughout with excellent original colour & patina.

Condition: Excellent. Possible minor old restorations, cleaning & waxing. Brassware believed to be original.
