Description: A fine, elegant, George III mahogany serpentine serving table, of excellent colour and patina. The solid mahogany with serpentine shaped front, straight sides and with a moulded edge to three sides. The frieze of well figured flame mahogany with applied moulding to the top and bottom edges. The table stands on chamferred and fluted triangular section legs with integral carved lappets at the hip.

This is a particularly elegant table, constructed of fine quality mahogany and mahogany veneers throughout. It would grace very well any contemporary or traditionally themed room.

Provenance: Private collection English West Country.

Origin & Age: English, George III, circa 1770.

Condition: Excellent. Minor old restorations, waxing.
