A good George III plum pudding mahogany drop-flap supper table, retaining excellent original colour & patina. The well figured mahogany rectangular top with moulded edge, and twin flaps which rise to form a capacious rectangular surface. The frieze with a long drawer to one side with opposing dummy, fitted with drop shaped ring handles and ebony base line inset stringing. The table stands on a four square section tapering legs again with inlaid ebony detailing, and terminating in square cap castors.
Provenance ► From a private residence in Nottinghamshire.
