A fine George II carved giltwood looking glass. The broken scrolling pediment, with floral scrolled subsidiary ears, a beaded circumference around the mercury silvered mirror plate, with profuse foliate decoration throughout. The base section again with floral scroll ears, foliate decoration and a central fleur de lys. The gilt work is nicely aged and appears original. A lovely mirror of compact dimensions in excellent condition.
