A fine English George III Chippendale period mahogany library bookcase of excellent original colour and patina. The cornice with swan neck pediment in-filled with fretwork, with geometric pattern rosettes and a central tablet. Below the bookcase section with astragal glazed doors enclosing an arrangement of four adjustable shelves in each side. Below the cupboard section with two opening panel doors with raised moulding and figured mahogany central panels opening to reveal a central shelf. The bookcase stands on a plinth base. A handsome and very practical piece is superb original condition.
