A fine George III mahogany serpentine chest of neat and desirable compact proportions and of excellent colour and patina. The well figured top serpentine shaped to front and sides with moulded edge. Below a brushing slide and four long graduated oak lined drawers with circular brass ring handles, interspersed with flame mahogany veneers. The chest is supported on elegantly shaped bracket feet. A particularly good example of a serpentine chest, unusual for a chest of these compact proportions that it has a brushing slide.
